Install Xamarin For Android App Development in Already Installed Visual Studio 2012/2013

This article will show you how you can install xamarin if your system already having Visual Studio 2012, 2013 or the higher version which is not having xamarin for android app development for your visual studio.

So for installing xamarin  follow the steps.

Step 1: First we will go to the https://www.xamarin.com

Step 2: Now click on sign in on top right corner of the webpage.

 

As you click on the login link below mention login from will open.

Step 3: If you have the account then enter the user id and password then login to your account or click on the “Create a new account”.  Now add the detail in registration form and click on “Create my account”.

After creating account just login into your account.

Step 4: Now click on “Dashboard”. Now as you click on dashboard you will redirected to the below mention link

Step 5: Now check the right side menu of your page.

Now click on the “Downloads”.

Step 6: After clicking on downloads below screen will open.

Now click on “View all Versions”. After clicking below mention screen will open.

In this just go to the “Xamarin.Android” and select the windows dropdown. As you select the windows dropdown a menu will open as shown below.

Now select the latest version and click on it. As you click it download will start as shown below

Now install it and enjoy android app development.
