This article will show you how you can disable and enable
button using jquery
in asp.net. In this I have used radio button to enable disable button on radio

using jquery.
Some of my previous articles are as follows: Cookies
Create, Read and Delete Operation Using jQuery in Asp.Net, Css

So for this article first we will create a new asp.net application
and add the below code in the page.
<%@ Page Language="C#" AutoEventWireup="true" CodeBehind="WebForm23.aspx.cs" Inherits="WebApplication2.WebForm23"
%>
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD
XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
<head runat="server">
<title>Disable
And Enable Button Using jQuery In Asp.Net </title>
<script src="http://code.jquery.com/jquery-2.1.4.min.js"
type="text/javascript"></script>
<script language="javascript">
function
EnableButton() {
$('#<%=Button1.ClientID %>').prop("disabled", false);
}
function
DisableButton() {
$('#<%=Button1.ClientID %>').prop("disabled", true);
}
</script>
</head>
<body>
<form id="form1" runat="server">
<div>
<asp:RadioButton ID="RadioButton1" runat="server" GroupName="button" onclick="javascript:EnableButton();" />Enable<br />
<asp:RadioButton ID="RadioButton2" runat="server" GroupName="button" onclick="javascript:DisableButton();" />Disable<br />
<br />
<br />
<asp:Button ID="Button1" runat="server" Text="Enable Disable Button" />
</div>
</form>
</body>
</html>
|
Please check the above jquery code.
<script src="http://code.jquery.com/jquery-2.1.4.min.js"
type="text/javascript"></script>
<script language="javascript">
function
EnableButton() {
$('#<%=Button1.ClientID %>').prop("disabled", false);
}
function
DisableButton() {
$('#<%=Button1.ClientID %>').prop("disabled", true);
}
</script>
|
In above code I have created two function one for enabling the button and other for disabling the button. Now we have done run the application to check the output.
