How to reset your lost sql sa password | Reset SQL Server sa password by Windows Authentication

While working data base server some time it happen that we forgot you user password of the sql server. So what the process to reset the password.  In this article I will tell you how to reset your sql server password if you forgot it.

Now here is the steps:

Login to your system as administrator and now open the sql client ang follow the steps to reset the sa password.

Step 1. Login into SQL server using Windows Authentication.
Step 2. In Object Explorer, open Security folder, open Logins folder. Right click on sa account and go to Properties.
Step 3. Type a new SQL sa password, and confirm it. Click OK to finish.
